JOB TITLE
Maintenance Technician
REPORTS TO
Maintenance Manager Individuals eligible for this role must possess a high school diploma and 1 year of related experience. Must be at least 18 years of age Must have legal right to work in the United States Must have a reliable means of communication and transportation Must have knowledge and understanding of medical terminology and procedures Must be able to speak, read, and write in English Must be willing to participate in pre-employment screening and drug screen
Essential Functions :
Work closely with the Maintenance Manager to keep facility in good repair. To respond quickly and efficiently to maintenance needs. To adhere to the highest standards of safety for our staff and persons served.

Ability to engage effectively in clinical interviewing to determine effects and side effects and their impact of prescribed medications. Motivational Interviewing techniques.
Facility Practices:
Understanding about program policies and guidelines.
Position Duties:
1. Work with Maintenance Supervisor on building and maintenance projects. 2. Responds quickly to assess maintenance problems involving electrical, structural, plumbing, and equipment repair or replacement. 3. Calls attention to preventive building maintenance duties, caulks windows and doors, repairs and replaces broken windows. Assists in these repairs as necessary 4. Assists with routine electrical repairs such as changing light bulbs or fluorescent lamps and assists in repairing ballast and light fixtures. 5. Assembles and moves furniture, hangs pictures and bulletin boards, makes name plates, moves and sets up tables and chairs. 6. Repairs and replaces door knobs or locks, repairs door closures, patches holes in walls. Paints interior and exterior walls. 7. Assists with remodeling efforts to include framing walls, installing and finishing drywall. 8. Trainable on the use of machinery, equipment, and tools necessary for the maintenance and repair the property. 9. Mindful of occupational hazards and safety precautions. 10. Skill in using hand and power tools. 11. Maintains HIPAA compliance in all actions.
