Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Mechanic/Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in maintenance and repairs on motor vehicles, heavy equipment and light equipment. Make necessary repairs on vehicles, equipment and facilities. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, and vehicles to ensure optimal performance. Work is generally performed under shop, yard or warehouse or outdoors in a variety of weather conditions. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed. Collaborate with team members to ensure a safe working environment, adhering to all safety protocols. Assist in the installation of new equipment and machinery as needed. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from supervisor. Welding experience required. Requirements Proven experience as a Maintenance Mechanic i Proven experience as a Welder Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose and repair various types of machinery. Proficient in using precision measuring instruments for maintenance tasks. Ability to operate fork lifts, certification preferred but not required. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team. Willingness to work flexible hours as needed for maintenance tasks.
