Job Description

Building Maintenance Tech Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and skilled Building Maintenance Technician to ensure the optimal operation, safety, and appearance of our facilities. In this role, you will perform a wide range of maintenance tasks, troubleshoot issues, and oversee repairs across the plant. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical, electrical, and facilities management skills in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Conduct routine inspections of building systems including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical equipment to identify issues early and prevent downtime. Perform repairs and maintenance using skills in electrical troubleshooting, and mechanical adjustments to ensure all systems operate smoothly. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to accurately diagnose problems and execute repairs efficiently. Manage facilities maintenance tasks including painting, drywall repairs, and general cleaning to uphold building standards. Supervise or assist with maintenance projects, coordinating with vendors or contractors when necessary to ensure quality work. Complete all facility work orders, schedule preventive maintenance, and document completed tasks. Provide excellent customer service by addressing facility concerns promptly and professionally. Support team members in maintenance activities, fostering a collaborative environment that emphasizes safety and efficiency. Qualifications High school diploma/GED Facilities maintenance and/or building repair experience Familiarity working in a manufacturing or building environments is a PLUS Excellent communication skills in English & Spanish Ability to physically perform manual tasks including lifting heavy objects and working outside
