The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of various flooring surfaces within commercial and institutional settings. This role requires a strong focus on quality, safety, and efficiency to ensure a clean and welcoming environment for clients and visitors. Prior janitorial or custodial experience is preferred, especially in commercial cleaning environments. The Floor Care Technician plays a vital role in upholding our standards of excellence through professional floor maintenance and cleaning practices. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of floors, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming carpets. Conduct carpet cleaning using appropriate equipment and solutions to remove stains and dirt buildup. Buff, polish, and restore the shine of hard flooring surfaces to enhance appearance and longevity. Operate floor scrubbers, buffers, extractors, and other specialized cleaning equipment safely and effectively. Follow established safety procedures to prevent accidents or damage during cleaning operations. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper storage and usage. Report any maintenance issues or damages identified during cleaning tasks to management promptly. Adhere to environmental services standards by using eco-friendly products when possible and disposing of waste properly.

Skills Retail Janitorial Expertise:

Proven experience in retail janitorial services, specifically in floor stripping and waxing (2,000 to 5,000 sq. ft. minimum).

Equipment Operation:

Advanced knowledge of floor buffing techniques and the professional operation of auto-scrubbers and industrial cleaning tools.

Efficiency & Quality:

Ability to clean floors at high speeds without compromising quality, ensuring tasks are completed on time and to institutional standards. Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship. Good organizational skills to manage supplies and complete tasks efficiently. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while following safety protocols. Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Excellent communication skills for reporting issues or completing documentation as required. Pay:
