65 (Union Collective Bargaining Agreement Payscale) Starting pay: $23.72 with progression to $29.65 with successful completion of the Internship program Benefits include:

Responsibilities:
Performs transit vehicle maintenance that are compliant with Transdev standards Inspects, diagnoses, services and/or repairs all assigned transit vehicles and related mechanical equipment Ensures accurate upgrades and/or modifications on coach systems, road calls, and on-the-road repairs as needed Coaches and monitors team members on the work team Other duties as required Qualifications Must be at least 21 years old with a high school diploma, GED or equivalent Maintenance experience with all types of heavy-duty transit equipment Commercial Driving License with passenger and airbrake endorsements (We offer development opportunities for obtaining your license) Appropriate Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification preferred Excellent communication skills with ability to read, interpret safety documents, blueprints, schematics, and other mechanical diagrams. Ability to pass a DOT physical examination, including background and a drug test.
Physical Requirements:
The essential functions of this position require the ability to: Work outside in varying temperature, weather, and humidity conditions-100% of the job is performed outside, work alone and in remote locations. Sit for extended periods (up to 6-8 hours per day); frequently walk for long distances and on possible sloped ground or slippery and uneven surfaces Push and pull objects up to 100 pounds, occasionally throughout the workday; lift material weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored at ground level Withstand heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job; tolerate exposure to considerable amounts of dust, vehicle fumes and noise.
