We are looking for a reliable and skilled Handyman / Maintenance Technician to help maintain our growing portfolio of vacation rentals and residential properties. This role is focused on keeping homes guest-ready, handling maintenance issues quickly, completing inspections, and helping deliver a high-quality guest experience. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working independently. Duties Perform general property repairs including drywall, painting, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliance troubleshooting, lock repairs, and general maintenance. Respond to maintenance issues during active guest stays including smart lock issues, clogged drains, Wi-Fi problems, appliance issues, smoke detector chirps, leaks, and other urgent items. Complete pre-arrival and post-stay property inspections to identify damages, missing items, maintenance concerns, and safety issues. Install and troubleshoot smart home devices including smart locks, thermostats, TVs, cameras, and Wi-Fi equipment. Assist with property setup projects including furniture assembly, TV mounting, supply setup, fixture installation, and general property improvements. Communicate clearly with management regarding completed work, recommended repairs, materials needed, and ongoing issues. Take photos and document work completed at each property. Coordinate with cleaners, vendors, and property managers to ensure homes remain guest-ready. Maintain professional appearance and communication while representing Duvoire at properties. Experience Previous handyman, maintenance, construction, or property maintenance experience preferred. Strong knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, carpentry, and general home repairs. Ability to troubleshoot issues quickly and work independently. Experience in short-term rentals, hospitality, or property management is a plus. Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license. Must have basic tools. Comfortable using a smartphone for photos, communication, and work orders. Reliable, organized, and responsive. What We Provide Company work vehicle provided for business use. Fuel card provided.
