Job Description

The Tool maintenance technician will be responsible for signing out tools and equipment to employees and tracking on the computer, needs to check tools to make sure working properly and if not handle repairs. We want to repair most tools in house unless a major repair. All safety equipment would be signed out and back in by this person as well. Also responsible to make a delivery if needed. Responsibilities include but not limited to: Perform regular check on all tools and equipment , carrying out repairs and offering extra help as required. Make sure PPE gear is in good order and sign out to all new employees. Tracking all of the PPE Gear. Keep precise records with regards to preventive maintenance of all Tools and equipment on a monthly basis on recommendation of the manufacturer. Give report on maintenance matters if any concerns exist to the supervisor. Perform maintenance inventory checks on a routine basis and order supplies as needed. Complete work orders as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Ability to multi task and prioritize. At least a high school diploma or a commensurate degree with Trade school degree an added advantage. Ability to read and comprehend safety procedures, maintenance and operating rules as well as procedure manuals. Efficient skills in contributing to routine correspondence and written reports. Persistently engages a professional polite attitude when relating with coworkers. Engages in open communication with property management team. Prior experience as an tool/equipment maintenance technician or in a similar role preferred. Electrical Knowledge be advantageous. Ability to stand for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 70 pounds without assistance. Dexterity and attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Available to work on weekends and early mornings or evenings if/when required.
Job Schedule:
Mon-Friday 7:30am-4:30pm
Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
