About the Role Overhead Door Co. of Batavia is looking for a skilled and motivated Commercial Garage Door Installer to join our team. As an industry leader, we provide high-quality service and installation for a wide range of commercial and industrial overhead door systems. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of sectionals and rolling steel doors, for local businesses and industrial facilities.

Compensation & Benefits Hourly Wage:

$22.00

• $28.

00 per hour (Based on experience). Health Insurance & 401k match. Paid time off (PTO) and holiday pay. Tools provided for job site use. Opportunities for overtime and career advancement.

Key Responsibilities Installation:

Install new commercial overhead doors, including tracks, springs, cables, and hardware, ensuring all components meet safety and operational standards.

System Integration:

Install and program commercial door operators and access control systems (keypads, sensors, and remote systems).

Maintenance & Repair:

Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, replacing torsion springs, rollers, and damaged sections as needed.

Customer Service:

Interface with commercial clients to explain repairs, demonstrate operation, and provide preventative maintenance tips.

Required Skills & Qualifications Experience:

At least 1-2 years of experience in overhead door installation, construction, or a related mechanical trade.

Technical Aptitude:

Proficiency with hand and power tools; basic knowledge of low-voltage electrical wiring is a plus.

Physical Ability:

Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs and feel comfortable working on ladders or scissor lifts at varying heights.

Reliability:
