Job Description

About the Role As a Plant Maintenance Technician, you will serve as a critical technical resource, ensuring the seamless operation of high-speed automation and production machinery. By leveraging your expertise in electrical and mechanical systems, you will drive equipment reliability and optimize production uptime through proactive maintenance and rapid troubleshooting. Responsibilities Execute comprehensive preventative maintenance and equipment set-ups to maximize machine longevity and performance. Diagnose complex mechanical and electrical processing issues, implementing effective repairs to minimize downtime. Manage spare parts inventory and documentation through computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) to ensure operational readiness. Collaborate with production teams to provide technical support and cross-train staff on basic equipment operation. Uphold rigorous safety standards and EHS protocols to maintain a secure and organized work environment. Analyze equipment data to identify recurring failures and implement innovative solutions to improve overall system efficiency. Qualifications Required Skills High School Diploma or equivalent. 3+ years of hands-on experience in an industrial or manufacturing maintenance role. Proficiency in troubleshooting 120/208/240/480 voltage systems and electrical repair. Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to safely operate personal hand and power tools. Demonstrated experience with PLC programming and relay testing. Preferred Skills Associate degree in a technical or engineering-related field. Previous experience within the plastics or high-volume manufacturing industry. Advanced certification in industrial electrical systems or EHS management.
