Garage Door Installer

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Garage Door Installer to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of garage doors and related components. Your expertise will ensure that each installation is performed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Duties Install new garage doors, including framing, door hanging, and fixture installation using hand tools and power tools. Perform repairs and maintenance on existing garage doors, ensuring smooth operation and safety compliance. Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately assemble and install doors and hardware. Conduct welding, fabrication, and metal stud framing as needed for custom or complex installations. Use construction site experience to manage heavy lifting, caulking, trim carpentry, locksmithing, electrical work, and other related tasks. Ensure all installations meet safety standards and manufacturer specifications while adhering to project timelines. Collaborate with team members on remodeling projects involving door frame carpentry, electrical wiring, or fixture adjustments. Requirements Proven experience with glass installation, welding, carpentry, or construction site work. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical diagrams. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the workday. Experience in door hanging, fixture installation, cabinet installation, or remodeling projects is highly desirable. Knowledge of locksmithing techniques or electrical experience is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail; ability to follow blueprints accurately.
