  • $30 Summary The primary function of the Lead Maintenance Engineer is to oversee the daily operations of the Engineering Department andsupervise in conjunction with the Facilities Director.
This includes thehandling of scheduling, payroll, budgeting and all administrative functions. Qualifications Toperform the job successfully, an individual must be able to adhere to each ofthe essential duties satisfactorily. The requirements listed below arerepresentative of the knowledge, skill and ability necessary to do so.

EssentialDuties and Responsibilities Supervise daily projects for the Engineering Department. Coordinate with Facilities Director to ensure that the whole property is on par with the standards meant to be maintained. Conduct daily inspections on refrigeration units, plumbing units and electrical systems. Purchase all tools, equipment and building supplies with the approval of Facilities Director and create PO's. Monitor the quality of service of all contractors and/or vendors in accordance with lease agreements, service contracts and warranties. Assist with the inspections on all Fire Safety and Life Safety systems. Assist in the coordination of projects scheduled for hotel improvements. Assist and facilitate preventative maintenance programs in conjunction with the Engineering team. Follow Emergency procedures as needed. Replace TVs and cable boxes, program movie channel boxes. Replace light switches, receptacles, and light bulbs. Repair furniture. Perform plumbing repairs
  • open clogged drains, change FET washers, stems, seats, cartridges, and handles, drain fittings, etc.
Trace and repair drain and water lines. Maintain preventative maintenance of HVAC systems. Repair kitchen equipment. Responsible for the set-up of meeting rooms. Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner. Comply at all times with standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations. Serve as Manager on Duty Assist in scheduling of preventive maintenance tasks. Attend mandatory meetings and hotel functions. Comply with all company standards and policies, as established in the employee handbook. Work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays to meet the demands of the hotel with open availability. Other duties as required. Experience Proven supervisory experience in facilities management. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in troubleshooting HVAC,electrical systems. Effective leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and coordinatemultiple projects simultaneously Excellent communication skills to clearly convey technical information andcollaborate across departments.
