Facilities Maintence Tech

• Schedule:

• Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:00pm We are currently recruiting for a skilled Facility Technician to join a growing manufacturing team in Rochester, NY. This position plays a key role in maintaining facility systems, troubleshooting production equipment, and keeping operations running safely and efficiently.

• Key Responsibilities:

• + Repair and maintain plant production equipment used in metalworking, assembly, welding, brazing, and related processes + Diagnose equipment issues, complete tear-downs, repairs, and reassembly + Perform preventative maintenance and calibration schedules + Maintain heating, cooling, sprinkler, and facility systems + Order and manage spare parts, tooling, and maintenance supplies + Inspect facility conditions and report major concerns + Operate lift trucks, tractors, and assist with snow removal as needed + Clean, paint, and maintain machines and work areas + Support hazardous waste handling procedures and safety compliance + Maintain maintenance records, reports, and communicate updates effectively + Recommend improvements related to safety, quality, cost, and efficiency •

Qualifications:

• + High School Diploma or equivalent required + Trade school or technical training preferred + 3+ years of maintenance experience in a machine shop or manufacturing plant + Strong troubleshooting and mechanical repair skills + Experience with basic single-phase electrical systems (three-phase a plus) + Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, plumbing, and carpentry preferred + PLC, electrical wiring, or CNC equipment experience is a plus •
