Job Description

Job Description This is a per diem/part time position with flexible hours! Hours worked will vary by week based on need. We are seeking a reliable and skilled Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for maintaining the overall condition of our small apartment community by completing work orders, performing preventative maintenance, and responding to maintenance emergencies as needed. The ideal candidate is hands-on, dependable, and takes pride in keeping properties safe, clean, and well-maintained. Responsibilities Complete daily maintenance work orders in a timely manner Troubleshoot and repair issues related to: Plumbing (leaks, clogs, toilets, faucets) Electrical (outlets, light fixtures, breakers) HVAC (basic troubleshooting, filter changes, minor repairs) Appliances (stoves, refrigerators, dishwashers, etc.) Perform unit turns (make-ready) including painting, patching drywall, replacing fixtures, and general repairs Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and seasonal maintenance tasks Maintain grounds and common areas (trash pickup, minor landscaping, lighting, etc.) Respond to emergency maintenance calls Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times Qualifications Previous apartment maintenance or related maintenance experience preferred General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems Ability to use hand and power tools safely Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical work (stairs, bending, carrying, etc.)
Pay:
$19.00 - $23.00 per hour
