Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Pool Technician to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, cleaning, and repairing swimming pools to ensure they are safe, clean, and fully functional. Your expertise will help create a welcoming environment for clients and ensure their pools operate smoothly all year round. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical skills and passion for maintenance in a fast-paced, service-driven setting. Duties Perform routine pool maintenance including water testing, chemical balancing, and filtration system checks to maintain optimal water quality. Conduct thorough pool cleaning using hand tools and power tools to remove debris, algae, and dirt from pools and surrounding areas. Inspect pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorinators; identify issues and carry out repairs or replacements as needed. Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform timely repairs to minimize downtime. Maintain detailed records of service visits, repairs performed, and maintenance schedules to ensure compliance and quality standards. Assist with opening and closing pools seasonally, ensuring all safety protocols are followed during these processes. Communicate effectively with clients regarding maintenance needs or repairs required to enhance their pool experience. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose and repair pool equipment efficiently. Experience with pool maintenance, cleaning, and chemical balancing techniques. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and other maintenance equipment safely and effectively. Service technician experience is highly desirable for troubleshooting complex issues quickly. Ability to perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and emergency repairs with attention to detail. Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple service appointments while maintaining high-quality work standards.
