CAD Technician / Production Coordinator Stone Countertops

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented CAD Technician / Production Coordinator to support our countertop fabrication team. In this role, you will convert field measurements into precise, fabrication-ready drawings and ensure smooth communication between sales and production. This position is critical to ensuring every project is accurate, efficient, and completed to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities CAD & Production Documentation Convert field measurements from DXF file into Auto CAD file for fabrication-ready CAD drawings using Alfa CAM (Park Industries Software) or similar software Ensure drawings include accurate dimensions, overhangs, cutouts, seams, and cabinet alignment Upload, print, and submit finalized production drawings and labels (SpeedLabels or equivalent) Maintain high standards of detail and accuracy to support fabrication and installation teams Communication & Coordination Act as a liaison between sales and production teams Communicate clearly and proactively throughout the project lifecycle Identify and resolve issues early to prevent delays or rework Take ownership of assigned projects from start to finish Requirements Experience with templating and CAD drawing in stone or countertop fabrication (Preferred) Proficiency with industry tools such as: Moraware LT-2D3D Laser Templator Speed Label (or similar system) Action Flow Prodim Proliner StoneApp Strong math, measurement, and spatial reasoning skills Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy Strong communication and organizational skills Computer literacy and technical aptitude Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Preferred Qualifications Experience in countertop fabrication or related construction industry Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings Experience working in a fast-paced production environment Pay & Benefits Competitive hourly pay (based on experience) Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off and holidays Stable Monday-Friday schedule Growth opportunities within a growing company Work Environment Office and production coordination role Fast-paced, detail-driven environment Team-oriented culture focused on quality and efficiency Apply Today If you're a precise, detail-driven CAD professional with experience in stone or countertop fabrication, apply today to join a team that values accuracy, craftsmanship, and growth.
