Job Description

We are currently hiring for a Full-Time Maintenance Associate who can fully own the unit turn process while supporting all aspects of campus maintenance. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, problem solving, and time management skills. In addition to unit turns, this position will also assist with work orders, preventive maintenance, and snow removal as needed.
Job Responsibilities:
Perform full unit turns from start to finish, including initial inspection, execution, and final punch Patch, sand, and repair drywall, paint walls, ceilings, trim and doors Replace and install fixtures such as faucets, shower heads, toilets, vanities, lighting and hardware Repair or replace doors, hinges, locks, and door hardware Install blinds, shelving, towel bars, and appliances Maintain stock of essential supplies Complete work orders as needed Assist with seasonal snow removal as needed Complete preventative tasks and inspections Use company computers, scanners, programs and apps
Requirements:
2+ years of maintenance experience Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, and painting Reliable transportation, and valid drivers license Ability to work weekends and participate in on-call rotation Strong attention to detail, problem solving ability, and time management skills High school diploma or equivalent Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly Experience with maintenance management programs is a plus Subject to call back for on-call schedule, and weather events Watermark Retirement Communities, Inc, is an equal opportunity employer, Minority/Female/Disability/Veteran/LGBTQ/Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity or Expression-proudly embracing diversity in all of its manifestations Watermark Retirement Communities, Inc. is not accepting unsolicited assistance from search firms for this employment opportunity.
