Job Description

A rare opportunity to join the City Winery team as we reimagine the future of live music and hospitality. City Winery to deliver the highest end combined culinary and cultural experience to our customers who are passionate in sharing wine, music, and culinary arts. We are a unique facility, combining a fully functioning winery with intimate concerts, food & wine classes, private events in a variety of configurations, and fine dining. We have created a compelling mix for our sophisticated clientele of foodies, and active cultural patrons—bringing the wine country experience to the middle of a large city. Position Summary The Facilities and Maintenance coordinator plays a key role in ensuring the maintenance and upkeep of our venue, including repairs, carpentry work, painting, and general maintenance tasks. Overview of Responsibilities Perform repairs and maintenance tasks throughout the venue, including but not limited to: Carpentry work such as building shelves, repairing furniture, and installing fixtures Painting walls, ceilings, and other surfaces as needed Plumbing repairs and minor electrical work HVAC system maintenance and filter replacements Flooring repairs General maintenance tasks to ensure the cleanliness and safety of the venue Conduct routine inspections of the facility to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards and address them quickly Maintain an inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies, and ensure they are properly stored and maintained Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities and ensure minimal disruption to operations Always adhere to safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others Minimum Qualifications Proven experience as a Handyman or similar role, preferably in a commercial or hospitality setting Strong carpentry skills and experience with woodworking tools and equipment Proficiency in painting techniques and knowledge of painting materials and products Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects and work in various environmental conditions.
