Job Summary Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Hotel Maintenance Technician, where your expertise keeps our property running smoothly and ensures an exceptional guest experience. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of the hotel's facilities. Your proactive approach and technical skills will help create a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike, fostering comfort and satisfaction at every turn. Duties Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC (heating, ventilation, air conditioning), and structural systems to ensure optimal operation. Troubleshoot and repair issues related to electrical systems, including the use of schematics and troubleshooting tools such as ohmmeters. Conduct residential painting, welding, and other carpentry tasks to maintain the hotel's appearance and structural integrity. Utilize Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and schematics to diagnose complex equipment problems efficiently. Oversee facilities maintenance activities by supervising team members or contractors when necessary, ensuring work is completed safely and to high standards. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Respond promptly to guest or staff repair requests, providing excellent customer service while resolving issues swiftly. Requirements Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field within hospitality, manufacturing, or residential settings. Strong electrical experience with knowledge of schematics, PLCs, and troubleshooting tools such as ohmmeters. Mechanical knowledge with skills in welding, plumbing, carpentry—including residential painting—and general repair work. Ability to read technical schematics and electrical diagrams accurately. Supervising experience or leadership skills to coordinate maintenance teams effectively. Excellent communication skills in English to collaborate with team members and report on maintenance activities clearly. Familiarity with CMMS software for scheduling and recordkeeping of maintenance tasks. Valid knowledge of safety procedures related to facilities maintenance and equipment handling.
