Position Overview:

A General Handyman is responsible for performing a wide variety of maintenance, repair, and installation tasks across residential, commercial, and industrial properties. This role involves hands-on work in areas such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, and general repairs. The ideal candidate is versatile, self-motivated, and able to work independently to resolve issues efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

General Maintenance and Repairs :

Perform basic repairs in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and other general maintenance tasks as needed.

Installations :

Install fixtures, appliances, shelving, doors, and other items across various types of properties.

Troubleshooting and Diagnostics :

Identify issues, diagnose problems, and develop effective repair solutions across a wide range of systems and structures.

Preventative Maintenance :

Conduct routine inspections and maintenance to ensure systems and fixtures are functioning properly and prevent future issues.

Minor Plumbing and Electrical Work :

Address minor plumbing issues such as leaks or blockages and handle basic electrical repairs like replacing light fixtures or outlets.

Painting and Drywall Repairs :

Handle minor cosmetic repairs, including painting and patching drywall.

Outdoor Maintenance :

Perform tasks such as fence repairs, deck maintenance, minor landscaping, and gutter cleaning.

Customer Communication :

Communicate clearly with clients to understand their needs, provide estimates, and explain repair processes.

Safety and Compliance :

Ensure that all work is performed safely and in accordance with local building codes and regulations.

Requirements:

• Valid general handyman license issued by USA.
• Proven experience as a licensed handyman, preferably in a maintenance or facilities management role.
• Need you to have your own tools and transportation with a valid driver's license.
• Proven experience in a handyman or maintenance role, with broad knowledge across multiple trades (carpentry, plumbing, electrical, etc.). Ability to interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical documents.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to safety and adherence to industry regulations.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Job Types:
