Seasonal Track Maintenance Engineer

Track Maintenance Engineer This is a Seasonal Position for our 2026 Race Season from May through September We re seeking a dedicated Track Maintenance Engineer to keep our race track and surrounding areas in top shape! In this role, you ll ensure that our maintenance buildings, barns, and lawns are pristine, secure, and up to safety standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

include the following: Responsible for keeping maintenance buildings clean and secure as well as surrounding yard area. Responsible for all general maintenance and repair of minor problems throughout the race track as directed by immediate foreman. Ensure adherence to all OSHA regulations and internal safety policies and procedures. Responsible for upkeep of lawn, all tracks and barns. Operates company vehicles as required. Conduct preventive maintenance inspections on all equipment as assigned. S upports other Maintenance Engineers as needed and assigned. Responsible for all back stretch clean up and barn maintenance as directed by immediate foreman. Responsible for cleaning horse manure from paddocks and assigned stables. All other duties as assigned. EDUCATION and/or

EXPERIENCE

High School diploma or GED required Tractor driving experience preferred. Valid driver s license required. Prior experience working closely with horses and people in stressful situations is helpful Ability to read, analyze, and interpret simple documents, such as safety rules and regulations, technical procedure manuals, instructions, and basic correspondence, reports and memos. Effective communication and organizational skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the Associate is regularly required to talk or hear. The Associate is also regularly required to stand, walk, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls. The Associate is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, and to sit, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The Associate is frequently required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. WORK ENVIRONMENT

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. When on the track, the noise level may increase to loud. Track Maintenance may be needed mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays depending on events and routine maintenance.
