Maintenance Specialist

A well-established, safety-focused manufacturing operation is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support production reliability, equipment uptime, and facility operations. This is a hands-on role for a technically strong individual who thrives in a fast-paced industrial environment. Key Responsibilities Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production and facility equipment Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, and utility systems to minimize downtime Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation Support industrial refrigeration and utility systems (compressors, heat exchangers, pumps, condensers, etc.) Conduct basic electrical and electronic maintenance independently Identify root causes of equipment failures and implement corrective actions Support minor facility maintenance and general plant upkeep Maintain spare parts inventory and coordinate with vendors as needed Complete safety inspections and ensure compliance with industrial safety standards Identify and recommend continuous improvement opportunities Occasionally assist with production workflow coordination based on equipment output

Qualifications Required:

6-8 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing maintenance environment One recognized maintenance-related certification (electrical, mechanical, plumbing, refrigeration, or maintenance reliability) Strong working knowledge of industrial safety practices Ability to work independently with minimal supervision High school diploma or

GED Preferred:
