Maintenance Technician

Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team! Duties Assisted Living facility, located on Long Island, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to assist our Director of Maintenance. Our ideal candidate must be familiar with hand and power tools and basic maintenance repairs. Should be able to perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspecting, trouble shooting, and repairing equipment and systems. Will respond quickly to maintenance requests from residents and various departments. Must be proficient in drywall and painting and have a good mechanical knowledge and have experience in facilities maintenance. Must be able to work independently and follow instructions, have a strong attention to detail and organizational skills, and possess good communication skills to interact with team members and supervisors. Qualifications Knowledge of HVAC systems including air conditioning units and refrigeration equipment a Plus Mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in equipment repair and preventative maintenance a plus Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to work independently or part of a team. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a detail-oriented approach to maintenance tasks.

Pay:

$20.00 - $28.00 per hour
