Job Description

Job Opportunity:
Part-Time Master Facilities Maintenance Technician with all skills in all interior and exterior skills and own tools. guaranteed 20 Hours a week. and may vary some times more than 20 hours a week. We are looking for a skilled and dependable Part-Time Facilities Master Maintenance Technician to join our team! If you have strong expertise in plumbing, electrical work, and general property maintenance, along with experience in property management, we encourage you to apply. The ideal candidate must reside within a 20-30 minute drive from Palmyra, NY, and be available for year-round maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform maintenance tasks including: Plumbing repairs (pipes, hot water tanks, toilets, tubs, faucets, etc.). Electrical troubleshooting and electrical repairs . Minor roof repairs and maintenance. Carpentry, painting, drywall, flooring. Small stove repairs, such as ignitor or coil replacements. Safely using ladders to access elevated areas. Carry and transport materials or equipment weighing up to 75 pounds. Address maintenance requests and emergency tasks promptly. Assist with some of property management duties, including: Understanding and adhering to Fair Housing rules and company policies. Screening prospective tenants and signing deposit agreements. Processing lease renewals and serving notices as needed. Utilizing property management software (training provided). Work collaboratively as part of a team and take direction from superiors.
Requirements:
Proficiency in plumbing, electrical systems, and general maintenance skills. Experience with small stove repairs (ignitor or coil replacements). Ability to safely climb ladders and perform minor roof repairs. Physical ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds. Familiarity with Fair Housing regulations and property management best practices. Ability to learn and use property management software. Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills. Flexibility to adapt to company policies and schedule requirements.
