As a growing company, this in-person role will report directly to the VP, Operations and will help us maintain our facilities and equipment in our restaurants. Key Responsibilities of Maintenance Technician Basic Plumbing and Electrical Repairs Basic Carpentry Skills required - Sheet Rock repair, tile replacement, etc. HVAC Filter Replacement Water Filter Replacement Responds to Repair/Maintenance requests in a timely fashion. Responsible for transporting tools and materials between restaurants. Able to use and operate equipment including power tools, hand tools, electric tools, and plumbing tools. Complies with all appropriate safety regulations. Is comfortable troubleshooting unique and/or complex issues. Escalates projects to appropriate supervisors, stakeholders, and vendors, when necessary. Is able to follow write and verbal instructions. Being an effective communicator is of importance. As this role requires physical demands, all applicants should be prepared for activities to include standing, bending, pulling, pushing, climbing, and lifting a minimum of 40lbs routinely. Must ensure work is completed in a timely manner that minimizes interference with restaurant operations. Is able to partner with appropriate vendors, when needed, to ensure resolution of escalated maintenance issues.

Education & Experience:

The right candidate will possess a minimum of 1 year in building maintenance, construction, or plumbing. Electrical experience is strongly preferred but not required. Any candidate with an OSHA certification in building maintenance would be a plus. This position is based in Queens, but is responsible for restaurants located in Staten Island, Manhattan, and Brooklyn. An active Driver's license and vehicle would be preferred, but not required.
