Job Description

Adecco is currently seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to support manufacturing operations at a Rochester, NY facility. This position is responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on production equipment, facility systems, and auxiliary machinery to ensure safe and efficient operations. Candidates should have at least 1 year of previous experience.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • + Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair production equipment and facility systems.
+ Perform preventative maintenance on machinery, equipment, and building systems. + Maintain and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems. + Service and troubleshoot robotic equipment and automated production machinery. + Complete repairs efficiently to minimize equipment downtime and maintain production schedules. + Identify root causes of equipment failures and implement corrective actions. + Recommend improvements to equipment performance, machine reliability, and work cell layouts. + Maintain maintenance records and complete required documentation. + Follow all company safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE). + Collaborate with production, engineering, and management teams to support operational goals. + Maintain regular and dependable attendance.
  • Qualifications
  • + High School Diploma or GED required.
+ Trade school certification, technical degree, apprenticeship, or equivalent maintenance experience preferred. + Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. + Experience working with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems. + Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and maintenance documentation. + Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks. + Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license. + Personal tools required.

  • Work Environment & Physical Requirements
  • + Manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, moving equipment, and elevated noise levels.
+ Frequent standing, walking, climbing, bending, kneeling, reaching, pushing, and pulling. + Ability to lift and move heavy materials and equipment as needed. + Ability to work safely around production equipment and facility systems.
