Property Maintenance Technician / Handyman Nest Keepers - Property Care & Management Full-Time | Hamptons, NY Nest Keepers manages homes and estates throughout the Hamptons. We are looking for a reliable, hands-on person to help take care of the homes we manage. This is a field job, you will be going from property to property handling maintenance, small repairs, and making sure everything is running properly. This is a great role for someone who is good with their hands, understands how a house works, and knows how to figure things out. What You'll Do General Maintenance & Repairs Handle repairs and maintenance tasks Basic plumbing (leaks, fixtures, clogs) Basic electrical (outlets, switches, fixtures) Basic carpentry (adjustments, installs, minor repairs) Take care of day-to-day issues that come up Check Properties Visit homes and make sure everything is in good condition Spot problems early and fix them or report them Keep homes clean, organized, and well maintained Work with Vendors Meet vendors on-site (plumbers, electricians, HVAC, landscapers, etc.) Explain what needs to be done Make sure work is done correctly Give updates after work is completed Basic Systems Awareness Understand how basic home systems work (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) Help troubleshoot simple issues Be comfortable with basic smart home items (thermostats, WiFi, lighting, alarms) Client Interaction Be respectful and professional when dealing with homeowners Represent the company well Communicate clearly when needed What We're Looking For Hands-on experience (handyman, construction, maintenance, or similar) Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and carpentry Able to solve problems and figure things out Organized, clean, and takes pride in their work Attention to detail Reliable and takes responsibility Good attitude and easy to work with About the Role You will be the person on the ground making sure things get done, problems are handled, and homes are taken care of properly. We are looking for someone who is willing to learn and improve. You don't need to know everything, but you should be open to learning new things and adjusting as needed.

Pay:

$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
