Pool Maintenance Technician

Job Overview B&B Pool and Spa Center is Rockland county's premier swimming pool and hot tub service provider with over 50 years of history. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Pool Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and optimal functioning of swimming pools through routine maintenance, cleaning, and equipment repairs. Your expertise will help create a pristine and inviting environment for our clients and community members. Responsibilities Perform regular pool cleaning tasks, including skimming, vacuuming, brushing walls, and emptying skimmer baskets to maintain water clarity and hygiene. Conduct routine pool inspections to identify issues with filtration systems, pumps, heaters, and other equipment. Maintain chemical balance by testing water parameters and adjusting chemical levels according to safety standards. Follow safety protocols during all maintenance activities to prevent accidents or hazards. Comfortably interacting with clients, as needed. Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, chemical treatments, and inspections for compliance and reporting purposes. Assist with seasonal opening and closing procedures to prepare pools for use or winterization. Experience High School Diploma or GED certificate. Valid driver's license and 3 years minimum driving experience. Basic mechanical skills. Familiarity with pool cleaning techniques, chemical handling, and water chemistry management. Ability to work with a team, follow directions, and complete tasks. Proven experience as a service technician or maintenance technician in pool or related equipment repair is preferred but not required.

Pay:

$19.00 - $25.00 per hour
