Job Overview Property Maintenance TechnicianMountPro Home Care Services MountPro Home Care Services is seeking a skilled, dependable, and hands-on Property Maintenance Technician to join our growing team servicing residential and seasonal homes throughout the Catskills region. This position is heavily focused on handyman work, property repairs, troubleshooting, and ongoing residential maintenance. We are looking for someone experienced, resourceful, and comfortable handling a wide range of interior and exterior property issues independently. Responsibilities Perform interior and exterior handyman repairs and maintenance Troubleshoot residential plumbing, electrical, roofing, and general property issues Diagnose and resolve maintenance problems efficiently Handle minor plumbing repairs, fixture replacements, leaks, shutoffs, and troubleshooting Perform basic electrical troubleshooting, outlet/switch replacement, lighting repairs, and fixture installation Inspect roofs, gutters, siding, and exterior structures for damage or maintenance needs Complete carpentry touch-ups, drywall repairs, painting, caulking, trim work, and general home repairs Conduct property inspections and identify preventative maintenance concerns Assist with seasonal opening and closing of homes Perform lawn care, outdoor maintenance, and winter property support as needed Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors when necessary Maintain clean, organized, and professional job sites Communicate clearly regarding completed work and maintenance recommendations Qualifications Strong handyman and residential maintenance experience required Familiarity with plumbing, roofing, electrical troubleshooting, and general home systems Fluent in English and Spanish required Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment Ability to work independently and solve problems in the field Detail-oriented, dependable, and professional Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred Ability to lift, carry, climb ladders, and perform physical work Preferred Experience Experience in any of the following is a plus: Property maintenance Residential repairs Home improvement Painting and carpentry Lawn care and landscaping Snow removal and plowing Construction or renovation support What We Offer Flexible work environment Opportunity for long-term growth Consistent year-round work Professional and respectful company culture Diverse daily responsibilities Competitive compensation based on experience MountPro is built on reliability, professionalism, and trusted service.
