In this energetic role, you'll be the backbone of our building operations, ensuring all systems run smoothly and safely. Your mechanical expertise, electrical know-how, and troubleshooting skills will keep our facilities in top shape. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced environment while making a tangible impact on daily operations. Whether you're experienced in residential painting, welding, or reading schematics, your contributions will be valued and essential to our success. Duties Perform routine and preventative maintenance on building systems, including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC components Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues utilizing schematics, Ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools Conduct welding repairs and perform basic residential painting tasks to maintain facility aesthetics Operate Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) for automation troubleshooting and adjustments Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to document work orders, track maintenance activities, and schedule future tasks Read and interpret schematics to accurately diagnose system problems and implement effective solutions Supervise or assist with facilities maintenance projects, ensuring safety standards are met and work is completed efficiently Experience Proven experience in facilities maintenance or related manufacturing environment with a focus on electrical and mechanical systems Knowledge of schematics, wiring diagrams, and control systems such as PLCs Hands-on welding experience with proper safety procedures Familiarity with residential painting techniques is a plus Strong understanding of electrical systems, including the use of Ohmmeters for testing circuits Supervisory or leadership experience in maintenance or facilities management preferred Excellent customer service skills to effectively communicate with team members and internal clients Ability to read and speak English fluently for clear communication and documentation Embark on a rewarding journey where your skills keep our facilities running seamlessly!
