This position's main responsibility is to preserve the excellent condition and functionality of our properties, and delivering exceptional service to our tenants. Our ideal candidate will be a jack-of-all-trades, with in-depth knowledge of maintenance procedures, mechanicals, and basic tools and appliances. To excel in this position, you must be a strong problem-solver with good communication and organizational skills. Responsibilities Develop and implement preventative maintenance procedures for our properties and mechanical systems. Inspect buildings, equipment, and systems to identify & solve issues. Perform apartment turns; including repairing damage and cleaning. Plan and schedule repairs, including responding to work orders from tenants. Perform general maintenance tasks; including cleaning, painting, and carpentry. Other projects and duties as assigned. Experience and Skills Desired Previous experience in a maintenance role is preferred. Detail-oriented and good communication skills. Ability to communicate and be professional with tenants. Understanding of general maintenance procedures and techniques. Effective problem-solving abilities. Must be well organized and have the ability to prioritize tasks. Clean driving record. Physically capable and available to occasionally work overtime including weekends and evenings. Hourly compensation will be based on experience.
