Overview We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of equipment and systems within our hotel. Your expertise will help ensure that our property remains safe, functional, and comfortable for guests and staff alike. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical knowledge and leadership skills in a dynamic environment. Duties Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC/R systems, refrigeration units, air conditioning equipment, and other mechanical systems Troubleshoot and repair appliances, refrigeration, HVAC/R equipment, and other mechanical components using schematics and technical manuals Lead small maintenance projects or team efforts to upgrade or replace equipment or infrastructure Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, parts used, and system performance logs Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or management to minimize downtime Ensure compliance with safety regulations and hotel policies during all maintenance activitiesSkills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, and air conditioning Ability to read schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints for troubleshooting and repairs Perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general building repairs to maintain safety standards and ensure efficient hotel operations. Complete painting, spackling, wallpaper repair, grout repair, and caulking work as needed to maintain the appearance and condition of guest rooms and public areas. Proven service technician experience with a focus on equipment repair and maintenance Knowledge of construction practices related to building upkeep and upgrades Leadership qualities with the ability to guide junior team members or coordinate small projects Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in diagnosing issues quickly Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and document work accurately Join us as a Maintenance Technician if you're passionate about keeping facilities running smoothly!
