Job Description
Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on all tooling and related equipment. Design, maintain, and repair fixtures, jigs, and tooling components as required. Perform welding, fabrication, and machining work as necessary. Enter and update maintenance and work order requests in the system as required; maintain accurate shift logs. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Read and interpret mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics and technical drawings. Plan, coordinate, and follow through on all mold repair activities. Maintain molds, secondary equipment, and preventive maintenance schedules to ensure optimal performance. Maintain familiarity with applicable quality and environmental standards, including ISO 14001 and
IATF 16949.
Support cost control initiatives, asset management, and departmental budget objectives. Participate in special projects and continuous improvement initiatives as assigned. Provide support to the Tooling Supervisor and Tooling Manager as needed. Ensure personal work performance meets quality standards and contributes positively to environmental compliance, workplace safety, and data security. Support and promote the company's quality management system through continuous learning, training, and adherence to established procedures. Demonstrate knowledge of Customer Specific Requirements (CSR) through training, work experience, or a combination of both.
