MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN, WHIRLYBALL CLEVELAND
Whirlyball Cleveland is seeking a skilled and versatile Maintenance Technician to join our team at an exciting and very successful entertainment business that has operated for over 35 years. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility by maintaining and repairing various electrical and mechanical systems, including Whirlybugs, bowling lanes and laser tag systems. The ideal candidate has 5+ years' experience in equipment and facilities maintenance and will possess a strong background in electrical and mechanical maintenance, a proficiency in welding and general facilities upkeep skills. Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school certification is a plus. 5+ years maintenance experience or similar role in an entertainment facility or related industry. Flexibility to work up to 35 hours per week, primary on weekends and afternoon / evenings Strong teamwork ability and positive attitude to contribute to the mission of the business Strong electrical and mechanical maintenance skills, with knowledge of troubleshooting and repair techniques. Proficiency in welding and fabrication techniques for metal components. Experience with maintenance and repair of bowling equipment, including pinsetters, ball returns, scoring systems, and lane surfaces. Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills Results oriented, customer service focused, and interpersonal skills to interact with employees and customers Valid drivers license in good standing & access to private transportation Consent to background screening, incl criminal, driving and drug screening Able to walk and stand for long periods, and lift up to 50 pounds The Maintenance Technician is responsible for repairs, including, but not limited to: Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on bowling equipment, including pinsetters, ball returns, scoring systems, and lane surfaces. Maintain LaserTron systems including electronics, vests, and software. Maintain Whirlyball court, equipment, and electronics Maintain facilities infrastructure (light construction, electrical, plumbing, HVAC) Collaborate with management and staff to prioritize maintenance requests and ensure timely completion of tasks. Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests and resolve issues in a timely manner. Perform general facilities tasks, including painting, carpentry, and basic repairs. Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inventory, and equipment history. Comply with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Assist in managing inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment needed for maintenance and repairs. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, and control panels Benefits:
