$33/HR Responsibilities Position Summary The Maintenance Technician performs preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and equipment improvements to support safe, efficient, and reliable operations. This role is responsible for diagnosing equipment issues, minimizing downtime, and ensuring equipment performance through both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities. Key Responsibilities Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment issues. Conduct equipment failure analysis and recommend corrective actions to improve reliability and performance. Evaluate and implement equipment modifications to improve availability, capability, and yield. Prepare and maintain technical documentation, maintenance procedures, and equipment modification reports. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment efficiency and reduce downtime. Ensure all maintenance activities are completed in compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements. Utilize established maintenance methodologies and procedures while assisting in determining approaches for new assignments. Serve as a technical resource and mentor for less experienced team members. Work independently on routine assignments with limited supervision while escalating complex issues as needed. Qualifications Education High school diploma or GED required. Technical certification, vocational training, or associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, Electrical Technology, or a related field preferred. Experience 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or production environment preferred. Experience performing preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment. Strong troubleshooting and repair experience involving mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and maintenance documentation. Familiarity with CMMS systems and maintenance recordkeeping is preferred.
