Job Description

Emerge is actively recruiting candidates for a direct-hire 1st shift Industrial Maintenance Technician job in Cleveland, OH for our client, a busy manufacturer of quality aerospace components. Candidates for this position must have experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial presses and other manufacturing machinery. Candidates should have strong electrical, pneumatic and hydraulics experienc e. We are seeking candidates with five (5) or more years of hands-on industrial maintenance and troubleshooting experience in a manufacturing setting. What's In It For You Excellent hourly pay: $35 and up hour based on experience 20% shift premium when working off shift hours, if needed. Full benefits package starting your first day 401K with 3% automatic contribution + 6% match $10,000 sign on bonus! Annual 4% bonus based on salary + Overtime for previous year! Annual pay increases, Overtime bonuses + pay, and OT availability Responsibilities for the 1st shift Maintenance Technician job in Cleveland, OH include: Disassemble machines and parts for replacement or repair using cranes, hoists, chain falls, hand tools, and jacks. Diagnose issues with machinery, identify defective parts, and provide repair recommendations to supervisors. Replace, fix, or realign machine components according to production specifications. Reassemble machine parts following maintenance and repair work. Collaborate with other maintenance team members and support production, engineering, and other personnel as needed. Work independently with minimal supervision. Maintain an organized and safe work environment. Demonstrate a strong ability to understand machine functions. Have a solid understanding of hydraulic systems and demonstrate proficiency in troubleshooting through deductive reasoning and schematics. Qualifications Minimum of three years of manufacturing maintenance experience. Proficient knowledge of machine mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, and blueprint reading; welding and fabrication skills are a plus. Experience in maintaining and repairing injection presses. A Journeyman's Card is preferred. High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) from an accredited institution is required. Ability to lift 40 pounds. Awareness of electrical controls is a plus. Ability to effectively work and communicate as part of a team. This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), which requires U.S. person status; ITAR defines U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e., "Green Card Holder"), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
