About the Role Are you a hands-on maintenance professional who takes pride in keeping a facility running at its best? Becker Pumps is looking for an experienced Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. You'll own the day-to-day maintenance of our building and equipment — working independently, solving problems, and making a real impact across our operations. This is a Monday through Friday, first shift position with a competitive hourly rate and a stable, team-oriented work environment. Essential Functions Directly supports activity and projects from the Director of Operations. Maintaining records of any work and inspections done on-premises. Setting up PM appointments with mechanics or electricians when needed. Assembling, installing, and configuring furniture, equipment, and fixtures. Performs a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks independently, without reliance on outside contractors or vendors for routine work. Ensuring all safety systems are functioning properly. Conducting routine maintenance on equipment and building systems. Completing safety checks on systems and equipment. Performing general maintenance tasks for the building or buildings, drywall repair, carpentry, flooring repair, painting. Detecting, identifying, and repairing building issues, like basic problems with the building's electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems. Responds to urgent or emergency maintenance requests in a timely manner. Maintains inventory of maintenance supplies, tools and replacement parts. Manage daily tasks and long-term projects. Prioritize tasks, create schedules, and develop timelines. What We're Looking For High school diploma or GED required; vocational/technical training or trade certification (electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry) strongly preferred Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in facilities maintenance, building operations, or skilled trades Demonstrated ability to work independently across multiple trade disciplines Experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or commercial facility environment preferred Working knowledge of preventive maintenance programs Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and safe work practices Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to document work and communicate across all levels of the organization Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing competing priorities What We Offer $26.00 - $31.00 per hour, commensurate with experience Monday - Friday schedule, first shift Medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays Stable, established company with a collaborative team culture Opportunity to build and own the facilities maintenance function Physical Requirements This role is primarily performed in a warehouse/industrial environment. Candidates must be able to frequently lift up to 25 lbs., as well as perform pulling, pushing, carrying, reaching, bending, twisting, climbing, squatting, and crouching.
