Job Description

Maintenance Technician
  • Direct Placement Job Description Join our union shop as an Electrician, where you will focus on handling electrical repairs.
Your primary tasks will involve low voltage repairs, such as working with relays, sensors, photo eyes, and light curtains. Safety is our priority, and in the case of large breakdowns, lines will be completely shut down with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Complex repairs, including control problems, will be managed by our engineering team. Responsibilities Perform electrical repairs with a focus on low voltage equipment. Work with relays, sensors, photo eyes, and light curtains. Ensure safety through Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures during significant breakdowns. Collaborate with the engineering team for complex repairs. Essential Skills Proficiency in electrical work, including conduit, wiring, and troubleshooting. Experience in construction, schematic reading, and installation. Ability to pull wires and perform conduit bending. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience running wires and using volt meters. Proficiency in wiring motors and conducting 24v repairs. Why Work Here?
