Job Description
An employee filling this position will work in a manufacturing environment, first shift, Monday - Friday. They will need to learn to set up a Fin Machine. Training is provided. They will also ensure that the production processes are safely and efficiently completed with high-quality meeting job traveler and print(s) specifications. Responsibilities May Include Machine Set up Lift tooling of 20 pounds Measure, record, and communicate dimensions measured using calipers, micrometers, and drop gauge Operate fin machines and processes to produce fins meeting job traveler specifications Secondary processes that need to be processed may include cutting, sizing, spanking, cleaning, packing, and auditing Operate vertical presses for spanking Assist in troubleshooting production processes Print out labels for boxing and high volume check sheets Assist in deburring teeth Operate EDM machines and processes to produce fins meeting job traveler and attached print(s) specifications Initiate actions to identify, prevent, correct, and/or resolve issues relating to the product, process, and quality systems Maintain a clean and organized work environment Maintain a safe work environment This position takes direction from those in management positions and reports to the Plant Manager.
