Full Job Description Maintenance Specialist Why Work With Us:

Consistent Schedule:
Four 10-hour shifts, Monday
  • Thursday. Available schedules include 12:00 PM
  • 10:00 PM or 2:00 PM
  • 12:00 AM.
Initial training will be conducted on 1st shift for approximately 90-120 days.

What You Will Do:
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment and facility systems. Perform preventive maintenance on electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical equipment. Support equipment uptime initiatives and building maintenance projects. Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and combustion control systems. Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues to minimize production downtime. Maintain critical spare parts inventory and assist with maintenance planning. Utilize the Epicor PM Module to track maintenance activities and preventive maintenance schedules. Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout and confined space requirements. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Recommend solutions to recurring equipment issues and support continuous improvement efforts. Follow up on maintenance work orders to ensure timely and effective resolution. Assist with the installation, relocation, and startup of new equipment. Work closely with subcontractors performing repairs and maintenance on furnaces, blasting equipment, plasma and oxy-fuel cutting equipment, CNC machinery, and overhead cranes. Ensure maintenance activities meet applicable code requirements and company standards. Train and assist plant employees on the safe operation of equipment when needed. Operate aerial lifts and perform work at elevated heights as required.

Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, climb, and lift up to 75 pounds in an industrial environment.
What Makes You Stand Out:
3+ years of industrial electrical and/or mechanical maintenance experience. Experience troubleshooting hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems. Working knowledge of electrical diagnostics, repair, and applicable code requirements. Experience with combustion furnaces, controls, and repair. Ability to operate overhead cranes, lift trucks, and tow motors. Journeyman, Millwright, Industrial Maintenance, Electrical, or Mechanical Maintenance background. Experience with PLCs, Servo Drives, and AC/DC Drives. Knowledge of Microsoft Office and computerized maintenance systems. Strong communication skills and continuous improvement mindset.
