Facility Support Technician

Facility Support Technician Job Summary:

The Facility Support Technician is responsible for supporting the day to day operations of the property by ensuring a clean, safe, and well maintained environment. This role performs a variety of light maintenance, preventative upkeep, and general facility support tasks while providing excellent service to guests and team members.

Key Responsibilities:

Complete preventative maintenance tasks and respond to work orders in a timely manner Perform light repairs and upkeep including painting, minor fixes, and general touch ups Maintain cleanliness and appearance of interior and exterior areas, including parking lots and sidewalks Perform groundskeeping duties such as trash removal, weed control, and pressure washing Assist with carpet cleaning and floor care as needed Monitor and maintain pool area, including checking and recording chemical levels Support housekeeping team when needed to ensure overall property cleanliness Set up and move furniture or equipment as required Identify and report maintenance concerns or safety hazards Maintain tools, equipment, and supplies in an organized manner These types of duties are common in facility support roles, which typically combine light maintenance, cleaning, and operational support to keep a property running smoothly.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous experience in facilities, janitorial, or general maintenance is a plus Basic knowledge of tools, equipment, and cleaning procedures Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail Good communication and customer service skills Ability to lift, carry, and perform physical tasks as needed

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

Regular standing, walking, bending, and lifting Work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions May require weekends, holidays, or flexible scheduling

Pay:

$14.00 - $15.00 per hour
