Property Maintenance Technician

Overview:

Kings Island is seeking skilled Property Maintenance Technicians to support the upkeep of park facilities, associate housing, and overall property grounds. This is a Full time position offering a competitive benefits package and opportunities for growth within Kings Island. We are especially looking for candidates who are proficient in door and door lock maintenance. Locksmith experience is a strong plus.

Responsibilities:

Perform general carpentry work and facility maintenance, including framing, drywall, trim, flooring, and finishing repairs Install, repair, and maintain doors, locks, and related hardware across park facilities and housing Troubleshoot and service door systems and locking mechanisms, ensuring proper function and security Repair and maintain building structures, fixtures, and interior/exterior components Complete preventative maintenance and inspections to identify and address issues proactively Respond to maintenance service requests in a timely and professional manner Assist with renovations, construction projects, and seasonal park preparation

Qualifications:

Experience in facility maintenance, carpentry, or a related trade required Proficiency in door and door lock maintenance required Locksmith experience is a plus Demonstrated experience with door hardware (hinges, closers, panic bars, locksets, etc.) Ability to perform general carpentry work, including framing, drywall, trim, and finish repairs Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a maintenance environment Comfortable using hand and power tools safely and effectively Basic knowledge of building systems and maintenance practices Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and peak seasons
