Experienced Residential Property Maintenance Technician

Health insurance Paid time off Bonus based on performance Competitive salary Training & development We are searching for a reliable property maintenance technician with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role to oversee the day-to-day maintenance of multiple apartment buildings and townhomes in Mentor and surrounding areas. We are looking for an individual with the following skills: Provide technical repair, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance services relating to electrical work, carpentry, plumbing, drywall repair, and painting. Appliance repair and installation, maintenance of window screens and blinds, interior and exterior doors, etc. HVAC and boiler experience preferred but not required. Make ready apartments, rehab apartments, and handle work orders in a timely manner. Assist property manager with apartment inspections Work closely and communicate with property manager, residents, and visitors with respect and a positive attitude Have good follow-through skills Good written and verbal communication skills Basic computer and tablet skills Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Able to adapt to sudden schedule changes such as maintenance emergencies.

Requirements:

You must have valid driver's license, your own vehicle, and be able to drive a truck with a trailer. This position requires availability for an on-call rotation schedule and occasional overtime. Ability to comfortably lift 40 pounds and climb ladders.
