Job Description
Required Education
- High School Diploma or EquivalentRequired Qualifications/Skills/Experience
- 3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and equipment manuals
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Experience with VFDs, PLCs, sensors, pumps, conveyors, and robotic systems
- Working knowledge of preventive maintenance programs
- Experience using CMMS softwarePreferred Qualifications/Skills/Experience
- Experience in food, beverage, or chemical manufacturing environmentsMaintenance Technician Overview
- The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing manufacturing equipment to ensure safe and efficient production operations.
- This role supports the reliability and performance of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems while minimizing downtime and maintaining production schedules.
- The technician performs routine inspections, preventive maintenance activities, equipment adjustments, and calibrations to identify and resolve potential issues before they impact operations.
- Working closely with production and engineering teams, the technician contributes to equipment reliability, process improvements, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- This position also assists with the installation and commissioning of new equipment and ensures accurate maintenance documentation within the CMMS system.
- Adherence to all safety requirements, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and company maintenance policies, is essential for success in this role.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues
- Conduct equipment inspections to identify wear, leaks, and potential failures before they impact production
- Support equipment changeovers, adjustments, and calibrations to meet production needs
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and documentation within the CMMS system
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve equipment performance and reliability
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment and systems
- Adhere to all safety standards, LOTO procedures, and company maintenance policies
- Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and increase efficiencyAdditional Information
