Overview We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Terminal Maintenance Technician / Groundskeeper / CMV (Commercial Motor Vehicle) Detailer to join our team. In this multifaceted role, you will be responsible for maintaining terminal facilities, ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our grounds and vehicles, and supporting overall maintenance operations. Your efforts will help uphold our high standards of safety, efficiency, and professionalism across our terminals. Responsibilities Terminal Maintenance & Groundskeeping Perform light mechanical and facility maintenance (repairs, painting, plumbing, basic electrical tasks) Maintain terminal grounds: mowing, trimming, debris removal, snow/ice control Inspect and maintain drainage, containment areas, and yard safety Maintain cleanliness and organization of shop and terminal areas CMV Detailing Wash and detail tractors and tank trailers (interior and exterior) Remove road debris, dirt, and chemical residues safely Apply protective coatings and maintain vehicle appearance standards Assist drivers with basic pre- and post-trip cleaning inspections General Follow all DOT, OSHA, and environmental regulations Maintain accurate logs and reports for maintenance and detailing Support safe terminal operations and equipment use Requirements Mechanical aptitude or experience in maintenance preferred Previous groundskeeping, facility maintenance, or vehicle detailing experience a plus Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly Valid driver's license required (CDL preferred but not required) Must pass background check and drug screening Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in welding or general repairs. Excellent communication skills in English to document work accurately and collaborate effectively with team members. Residential painting skills are desirable for facility upkeep projects. Customer service mindset to ensure a safe and welcoming environment at the terminal.
