JOB SUMMARY
As a Maintenance Technician at LogistiQ, you will be a part of our Maintenance team. The ideal candidate will install, maintain, and repair machinery, equipment, physical structure, and electrical systems in a commercial and industrial setting.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following: Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment. Detects machinery malfunction and discusses machine operation variations with supervisors or other maintenance workers to diagnose problems or repair machines. Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts. Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery. Installs and repairs of electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment. Lays out, assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment. Repairs and maintains physical structure of establishment. Installs, programs, or repairs automated machinery and equipment such as robots or programmable controllers. Set up and operate machine tools such as lathe, grinder, drill, and milling machine to repair or fabricate machine parts, jigs and fixtures, and tools. Operates cutting torch or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts. Perform building and grounds maintenance work as needed. Follows all company policies and procedures and adheres to Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) safety regulations. Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Building and grounds maintenance best practices. Proven experience in installation, programs or repair of automated machinery and equipment such as robots or programmable controllers. Ability to read and comprehend instructions, schematics, mechanical drawings, component manufacturer's literature, etc. Strong mechanical aptitude. Strong attention to detail. Demonstrates time management and organization skills. Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills. Strong interpersonal skills. Basic data entry skills including how to print documents. Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division). Able to convert decimals to fractions and vice versa. Ability to read a tape measure within 1/16". Successful completion of 90-day probationary period.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent is required. OSHA 10-hour training preferred. Forklift and scissor lift experience required. A minimum of three years of maintenance experience required.

X PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Demand Never Occasionally Constantly Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing. X Light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds. X Medium work that includes moving objects up to 50 pounds. X Heavy work that includes moving objects up to 100 pounds or more.
X ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS
Condition Never Occasionally Constantly Low temperatures. X High temperatures. X Outdoor elements such as precipitation and wind. X Noisy environments. X Hazardous conditions. X Poor ventilation. X Small and/or enclosed spaces. X No adverse environmental conditions expected.
X WORK ENVIRONMENT
This role primarily operates within a manufacturing facility, with exposure to production floor activities and office environments.
