Maintenance Technician (JOB ID 1894)

OneSparQ is looking for a Maintenance Mechanic for a growing company in Sidney, OH.

Responsibilities:

Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment, including ovens, conveyor belts, and other critical systems, to minimize unplanned downtime. Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC-controlled systems, including motors, instrumentation, distribution, and feed control components. Inspect and replace worn components such as bolts, belts, and other hardware to ensure reliable equipment operation. Collaborate effectively with teams across production, sanitation, engineering, and maintenance to support smooth plant operations. Maintain an organized maintenance area by applying 5S workplace organization principles. Learn and utilize the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system to document maintenance activities and manage work orders efficiently.

Required Skills:

5+ years of experience as a Maintenance Mechanic in a heavy industrial or manufacturing environment Strong mechanical background with experience repairing, installing, and replacing three-phase motors Hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing complex conveyor systems Basic understanding of HMI systems Must supply own hand tools (wrenches, Allen key set, jaw pliers, chain lock)

Additional Skills:

Experience in the food or baking industry Hands-on experience troubleshooting PLCs or VFD systems MIG welding experience #priority

Pay:

$71,281.60 - $75,587.20 per year
