Job Description

Job Title:
Maintenance Technician SUMMARY Troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains production equipment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Repair and troubleshoot in pneumatics, hydraulics, over-head cranes, forklifts, hoists, 3-phase motors, variable speed drives and controls, welding & cutting and heavy industrial wiring. Repair and rebuild electrical and mechanical components. Installation, modification and fabrication of equipment and systems to meet production needs and schedules. Perform Total Preventative Maintenance to all machinery and equipment as scheduled. Ability to learn process, equipment specifications and company standards by actively consulting resources, associates, manuals, training department and policies. Participate in continuous improvement in safety, quality, and housekeeping

EXPERIENCE
The qualified candidate must have a High School diploma or equivalent degree and minimum 3 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Must be able to read and interpret machine electrical and mechanical drawings, read and translate technical manuals. Ability to effectively communicate with all members of the team and maintenance situations across shifts.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Troubleshoot programmable controllers, electronics, circuit analysis, mechanics, hydraulics and pneumatics. Ability to use electrical test equipment as needed for repairs and troubleshooting.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
