CNC Machine Maintenance Technician#26-02517 $35-$40 per hour Vandalia, OH Onsite Job Description
At-a-Glance:
Are you ready to build your career by joining a certified technology solutions and compliance consulting services company. If so, our client is hiring a CNC Machine Maintenance Technician.
Position Type:
Contract Onsite Key Responsibilities
Preventative Maintenance:
Schedule and execute PM tasks on CNC machines to prevent failures, including cleaning, lubrication, and part replacements.
Troubleshooting & Repair:
Diagnose and fix malfunctions in CNC control systems, electrical circuits, PLCs, motors, servos, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
Production Support:
Respond quickly to machine breakdowns to minimize production downtime.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate logs of maintenance activities, service records, and parts usage.
Technical Compliance:
Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and manuals, adhering to all safety protocols (lockout/tagout). Requirements
Experience:
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in CNC maintenance (3+ preferred).
Education:
High school diploma or GED; technical degree or certification in electronics/mechanical repair is a plus.
Skills:
Proficiency in diagnosing CNC controls (e.g., Fanuc, Siemens, Haas), electrical/mechanical troubleshooting, and using diagnostic tools.
