Job Description
Overview This growing manufacturing company is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair their Plastic Injection Molding machines and various equipment on the evening shift. The ideal candidate will have the ability to operate and maintain various manufacturing machinery. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. An understanding of the injection molding processes would be a plus. Responsibilities Maintain injection molding machines and various other equipment to ensure they are functioning properly. Preform routine inspections and troubleshooting issues as they arise. Read and interpret schematics to understand machine operations and setup requirements. Utilize precision measuring instruments to ensure product quality meets specifications. Ensure that all work is performed in a safe manner and to a high standard. Ensure that automation and programming of equipment is operating properly. Experience High School Diploma or equivalent, required. 2+ years maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Familiarity with logic controllers and their applications in injection molding machinery, a plus. Strong mechanical aptitude. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. A commitment to continuous improvement and willingness to learn new skills is essential
