Position Overview We are looking for a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to join the engineering team at Middletown Hotel Management. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the hotel's building, grounds, and mechanical systems to ensure uninterrupted daily operations and an outstanding guest experience. Benefits 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Responsibilities Maintain and repair the interior and exterior of the hotel building Perform cleaning, lubrication, repair, and general maintenance of all hotel equipment Repair and maintain plumbing, electrical, heating, cooling, and domestic water systems Complete work orders and maintain accurate maintenance logs Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair all systems in the physical plant Inspect the property regularly to identify potential and current maintenance needs Plan and execute ongoing preventive maintenance projects on a scheduled basis Work with contractors and ensure all work is completed to specifications Repair, paint, and install architectural features and finishes Respond promptly to all emergency maintenance situations Report accidents, injuries, hazards, near misses, and property damage to supervisor Qualifications Background in building trades and/or graduation from a technical school General experience in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building trades Ability to communicate effectively with guests and co-workers Ability to lift in excess of 75 pounds individually; ability to assist in moving heavier loads with team support Ability to stand, walk, reach, and bend for extended periods Ability to climb ladders and work in a physically demanding environment with varying temperatures Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment Middletown Hotel Management is an Equal Opportunity Employer
